Responsible to Laurel House's Registered Manager, providing effective, safe and efficient management of the home. To be responsible for leading and managing a team of residential workers whilst on shift, taking full responsibility for managing the establishment, and the welfare of the children and young people in the absence of the homes Registered Manager.
To be part of a team offering a comprehensive, high quality residential service to children and young people. The aim of the role would be to ensure that the physical, social and emotional well-being of the children/young people in their care are met and to assist in their positive holistic development and resilience.
To work as part of a team within Laurel House, providing day-to-day support to the children in our care. To support and care for children who may experience social, emotional & mental health difficulties, including those who have experienced trauma. To work effectively with a range of professionals and agencies and to develop positive working relationships with the children’s families, their social worker and support networks.
